We have added this professional page to our web site as a resource for you, the mental health professional. Our intent is to provide items of interest such as information about medication access, continuing education opportunities, contacting us for inclusion in our Information & Referral database, etc.

Are you in our Referral Database?

Mental Health America of Eastern Missouri maintains an Information and Referral database of mental health professionals in the St. Louis area.  If you want your practice included, tell us your specialty or area of special interest in clinical practice. We are frequently asked to make referrals to mental health professionals who meet specific needs, such as:

  • Has expertise in certain presenting issues, such as Personality Disorders, improving self esteem, etc.
  • Has expertise in specific treatment modalities, such as DBT, EMDR, etc.
  • Offers group therapy for a specific concern
  • Has specific ethnic, cultural, religious or spirituality perspective
  • Speaks a non-English language or is fluent in sign language
  • Offers sliding scale fees or can accept Medicaid clients
